How IFA works

IFA is one of South Africa’s premier network marketing companies, and has already helped thousands of people across the country change their lives. If you are looking for a simple and easy way to own your own business, then the IFA Business Opportunity is for you. How the IFA Business Opportunity works is simple. All you need to do is the following: Attend an IFA Presentation: At one of our presentations, an IFA presenter explains the business model and the products, giving you a clear understanding of the business opportunity. Thereafter you can choose to become an IFA and sign up at an IFA Presentation venue. Now start building a strong foundation for your business, step by step. Start off with two people in your team, then five, then ten. Follow up and encourage the people you have introduced to IFA to take advantage of the IFA Business Opportunity and to tell others about it. When 5 people join your team and each take out a policy and pay their premiums and IFA business fees, you will start receiving monthly IFA earnings. It is that simple. By spreading the word and encouraging other people to become IFAs and introducing them to the products, you have a direct effect on your own business success. The more effort you put in to making your business work, the better the results will be.

How Much Can You Earn?

As an Independent Field Advertiser you determine how much you earn, depending on the amount of work you put in. IFAs earn in the following ways: through IFA earnings, Clubs and New Bonuses.: IFA Earnings. Earnings are paid on a monthly basis. You become an IFA Earner when you introduce five qualifying Key Appointments who all pay premiums in the same commission period. You will receive earnings from each person in your network that pays their premiums. Earnings are calculated on different levels and the percentage that you earn differs for every level that you reach (up to 6 levels). In order to become an IFA Earner your own IFA business fee must be paid. IFA Clubs. With IFA you can enjoy IFA Club earnings throughout the year, based on the number of IFAs in your network (level 1 - 6) who pay their premiums and business fees. Clubs are paid in addition to earnings – these are rewards that IFAs receive for each milestone they achieve when building their businesses. Clubs are earned from Club 30 to Platinum Club 20 000. New Bonuses. New bonuses are earned should you meet the stipulated requirements. The following bonuses are currently in place: You Can Club 10 ( changing to Step-up 10 as from 20 April 2011) Builders Bonus 5 Introducer Bonus 30 Introducer Bonus 60 Earn for Life as well as Year Modes should have ended with payment date 20 February 2011. However, this end date has been extended to early 2013. IFAs who meet all the relevant criteria as at 20 February 2011 will belong to the Earn for Life Forum and be recognised for the achievement at the 2011 Mass Rally. The Earn for Life Forum qualification period will be extended for a further 2 years to early 2013 to allow for additional IFAs to qualify for this forum. To find out more, attend an IFA presentation or refer to the IFA Starter Manual.

About IFA

IFA, which stands for Independent Field Advertisers, is the network marketing division of Clientèle Life, one of the most trusted and respected names in the South African financial services sector. In July 1998, Clientèle Life identified an opportunity in the insurance industry and introduced a “first of its kind” marketing approach – the IFA Business Opportunity. Through the IFA Business Opportunity South Africans have the opportunity to apply for insurance products that suit their needs and at the same time, have the opportunity to earn an additional income by introducing others to the opportunity. The simplicity of the concept means that the IFA Business Opportunity can be taken up by almost any adult South African, regardless of their qualification or work experience. With hard work, tenacity and determination, an IFA can build a promising and sustainable business. The rewards and earning potential are directly proportionate to the effort IFAs put into their business.

What an IFA is not

IFAs are Independent Field Advertisers who run their OWN businesses. IFAs are not insurance brokers or financial advisors. IFAs are not allowed to give any form of advice. IFAs are ambassadors for the IFA Business Opportunity. IFAs TELL, they don’t SELL.

The IFA Business Opportunity

The philosophy is simple – word of mouth is the strongest form of marketing. This business is based on a network marketing system: rewarding you for simply referring others to the IFA Business Opportunity by inviting them to an IFA Presentation. An accredited IFA Presenter explains the business opportunity and introduces you to Clientèle Life products. To participate in the IFA Business Opportunity, all IFAs are required to pay a monthly IFA Business Fee of R38 per month. This business fee gives you full access to various business support services and events. FOR LESS THAN R2 A DAY you are given the necessary tools and support to build a successful business. For your convenience, the IFA Business Fee will be added to your monthly premium and billed from the banking account nominated on your application form. The support, services and business tools include: Professional IFA Presenters located at over 200 venues around the country to present the IFA Business Opportunity on your behalf. An extensive range of marketing materials to build your IFA business and brand. A dedicated National Contact Centre which is manned by experienced and dedicated staff, ready to answer all your questions and assist you. Comprehensive training programmes offered nationally by the IFA Academy, free of charge. Business and network information through various channels including monthly earner letters, various SMS campaigns and the Izindaba newsletter. A comprehensive recognition programme, including awards events to ensure that both you and your team are rewarded for your hard work. Various marketing campaigns across a variety of media such as newspapers, magazines, television and radio, designed to create ‘top-of-mind’ awareness of the IFA Business Opportunity, and this helps you market the IFA Business Opportunity better. Monthly bonuses designed to boost your earnings. Business statements to help you manage your business. An IFA Database Sales Centre which helps you to grow your business by promoting additional products to IFAs.
